In 2015, government leaders from around the world signed an agenda with goals that are of unprecedented importance to the world and our future. These Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ensure a healthy earth, a strong industry, peaceful cooperation between people and the well-being of all of us. We can only achieve the SDGs if everyone participates and we all take action together.
In collaboration with the Museum for the United Nations, UN Live, the municipality of Leiden, and various other partners we have taken the initiative to organise a campaign and festival to involve everyone in achieving the SDGs. To this end, we have established an independent foundation, Stichting 2030, that will develop a number of activities, including a national campaign and a co-creation programme, starting in the spring of 2020.
